The One With My Hormones

Wow. Wow. Wow. Hormones are such a funny thing. You learn about them in school, about how they're chemical messengers in your brain, yadda yadda yadda. But you think, that after spending a quarter in Neurobiology, knowing how this little hormone system works inside out, would automatically give you some sort of magical control over it.

Because I know I'm about to get my period, I'm sitting here looking at golden retriver puppys and I'm seriously about to cry. So, I guess I don't.
