The One With My Top Ten Of 2005

My Top Ten moments/experiences of 2005 (I borrowed this from Patrick!) In no particular order:

1. Taking my very last final, ever. It was a 2 hour long California history final which consisted of 10 short answers, 4 (short!) 1 page essays, and another 4 page essay. I remember I kept torturing myself the whole time, thinking of worse-case scenarios such as earthquakes or spontaeous combustion, anything that would come in between me and never ever having to sit through another lecture ever again. But alas, 2 hours of test time passed without incident. I turned in my 10 page long exam, and breathed the BEST sigh of relief EVER.

2. Actually going to a Giants game where they won. Let's see ... I went to about 10 games this season, and they lost most of them. What heartbreak. But hey, they actually won against the A's that one time!

3. Meeting Michael Phelps. The Eight-Time-Gold-Medalist Olympic God. The Man With The Body From Heaven. He Who Induces Salivation At First Glance. I was so flustered and nervous when I saw him. I don't even remember what I said to him, but it probably went something like "Hubba hubba mo mami me likey yeah rowrrrrr."

4. Getting a damn job. I was broke for so long. But now that I gots a job, paychecks are a welcome sight.

5. Vegas Trip 2006. Rain. My drunken ass falling hard on the cement. Hanson. Pure. GRILF. Pure. Pure. Roxbury. Tangerine. Light. Risque sucking of course. North Carolina guys. GOOD TIMES.

6. Vegas Trip 2006 part 2. Going to Pure like 3 times in a row. Seeing Grilf (again). Meeing Ryan and Valentino. Those guys were a riot. If only they didn't live in Wyoming. Seeing Teddy come out of his shell. Wink.

7. Getting a new place. It's pretty tizzight ya'll. Haven't actually moved anything in yet, but it's there. PARTY EVERY NIGHT!!

8. Seeing a slutty girl scout get shoved. I went out w/ Patrick and Nidhi Halloween weekend, and some slutty girl scout stepped on Nidhi's foot. Nidhi shoved her pretty hardcore and she stumbled like 10 feet. IT WAS SO FUNNY. I kept saying that night how seeing that was the highlight of my night. Well thinking about it more, it actually qualifies as a highlight of my year. It was that good.

9. Getting a new pet. I know, he's only a goldfish, but he's my little baby. I won him at a carnival. He gets all excited when he sees me. It's kind of heartwarming (and admittedly pathetic but whatever).

10. Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. Oh my lord, it was pure torture waiting for this book to come out. I have been waiting for this book for what like 3 years and the day this book came out, I touched the cover of the freshly printed book at the Barnes and Noble at midnight on July 8, it was er, like breathing oxygen for the first time. Uh huh for real. Call me a dork/nerd but that ain't news to me. Morsmordre! AVADA KEDAVRA!
