The One With The Donuts

Trephination. BARF! I was watching one of my favorite shows, 20/20 and they had this feature on 'trephination' which is the practice of drilling holes in one's head to get rid of mental illness as well as to expand your intellectual ability. HAHA! Holy, what is this world coming to? One of the reasons why I love investigative reporting like 20/20 is cause they're not afraid to show the gory details. They actually showed part of the procedure which involved taking some metal thing and twisting it and twisting it until the hole is drilled throught the skull, blood dripping everywhere! That almost made me sick to my stomach, yet I was sickeningly amused by it. *shivers*

At work the other day my supervisor assigned me to program the new fax machine with the fax numbers of all their buyers. Ok, sounds easy, but I was having the hardest time. That dumb fax machine didn't like me and kept beeping at me and giving me error messages. It took me 2 hours to program 24 numbers in a fax machine. Hard to believe huh. Well number 1. I was not in the mood. Number two. My skills in figuring out how to program electronical devices are diminishing due to my aging intellect. A loooong time ago, I probably woulda had that fax thing down cold. Did you notice how, the younger you are, the more you know how to do stuff like that? LOL. I can just see my 9-year-old niece grabbing that fax instruction manual outta my hand and doing it herself. Anyway.

I went to that Krispie Kreme place today. Supposedly the best donuts in town. Nothing special to me. Gimme some of those yummylicious donuts from Pier 39 instead.
